Overview

Fabrick is a PSP and payment gateway that lets merchants take payments directly from the customer's bank account. The customer pays from their own bank, and money moves to the merchant without the card networks.

How pay by bank works

The shopper picks their bank on the checkout page, logs in to online banking and approves the payment. No card details are entered, and the merchant receives confirmation of the transfer. The method is often called pay by bank or open banking payments.

Benefits

  • no card data, so less risk of theft or leaks;
  • no classic card chargebacks that come with card payments;
  • convenient for large payments where the shopper's card limit might fall short;
  • approval happens in the customer's familiar banking app.

Who it suits

Account-to-account payments suit web shops with high average orders, bill payment services and companies that want to rely less on card fees. They are often added as a second method next to cards.
