Overview

ePayPolicy is a payment facilitator (PayFac) built for the insurance business in the United States. It helps agencies collect premiums online, set up autopay and send outbound payments without a separate bank acquiring setup.

Features

  • branded payment pages for policyholders;
  • premium collection by card and ACH;
  • recurring payments and payment links;
  • integrations with AMS (agency management systems);
  • outbound payments.

Pricing

  • Essentials: $25 per month;
  • Integrated: $50 per month;
  • Enterprise: custom pricing.

Transaction fees are charged separately from the subscription. Judging by the names, Integrated is meant for agencies connecting their AMS, and Enterprise for larger agencies with specific needs.

Who it is for

Under the PayFac model an agency does not open its own merchant account with a bank; it joins as a sub-merchant of the facilitator and can start taking payments sooner. The service targets insurance agencies and brokers in the US that need to take premiums by card and ACH, debit recurring instalments automatically and match payments to policy records.
