Overview
eManat is an Azerbaijani network of payment terminals where individuals pay for everyday services. At a terminal you can top up mobile service and pay for utilities, internet, banking and government services.
What the terminals accept
- mobile service;
- utilities;
- banking services, such as loan repayments;
- internet;
- government services.
Who it suits
For residents of Azerbaijan the terminals are a quick way to pay cash for services without visiting a bank or a provider's office. For companies that bill the public, joining the network adds a payment collection channel: customers can pay at any terminal in the network.
Where it helps most
Terminal payments remain in demand where many customers prefer cash or do not use online banking. Telecom operators, utilities and banks receive a flow of payments through such a network that would be hard to collect through online channels alone.
Terms
Onboarding for service providers, fees and the timing of fund transfers are not public. They are discussed directly with the company based on the type of service and number of payers.
