Overview
Easypaisa is a Pakistani e-wallet that offers businesses payment acceptance. Merchants can take payments from the Easypaisa wallet, while customers without a wallet can pay in cash over the counter.
Payment methods
- Easypaisa wallet: the customer confirms the payment in the mobile app and the amount is debited from their balance;
- over-the-counter payment: the buyer gets the order details and pays cash at a payment point.
Why it matters in Pakistan
A large share of shoppers in the country do not use bank cards online. A mobile wallet and cash payments at retail points cover exactly this audience, so for online sales in Pakistan these methods are often more important than card acquiring.
Who it suits
The service fits online stores, delivery services, online education and other companies selling to Pakistani customers who want to offer familiar ways to pay.
Terms
Pricing, settlement times and merchant requirements are not public. Discuss them before launch: settlement speed determines when cash payments reach the business account.
