Overview
Dmoney is an e-wallet and payment service for businesses in Bangladesh. Customers keep money in the app and pay with it, while merchants receive payments directly into the wallet or via QR code.
Methods - e-wallet: payment from a mobile app without a card; - QR: the customer scans a code at the till or on a website and confirms the payment on the phone.
The Bangladeshi market Most cashless payments in the country go through mobile wallets, while a relatively small share of the population uses bank cards. For businesses that want to accept payments from mass-market customers, wallets and QR therefore matter more than card acquiring.
Who it suits - retail shops and service points; - online stores and services with an audience in Bangladesh; - companies wanting low-cost cashless acceptance without terminals.
QR payments are especially convenient for small businesses: display a code, and customers pay by phone.
What to clarify Pricing, settlement times, limits and integration options are not published. Discuss them during onboarding based on your volume and sales format.
