Overview
CoinCorner is a bitcoin service for buying, selling and accepting payments, with Lightning support. It works only with BTC, and fiat currencies listed are GBP and EUR.
Payment acceptance A business can receive bitcoin in three scenarios: - online, where the buyer pays for an order from their wallet; - in store, usually by scanning a QR code with the amount; - by invoice, sent by email for the customer to pay later.
Invoice payments suit freelancers, agencies and B2B firms that work by agreed amounts. Listed clients are online merchants and retail. An embedded checkout workflow is documented in a PDF guide.
Buying and selling The fees page states a 1% buy and sell rate; other charges depend on the funding or withdrawal method: - EUR SEPA deposit: no fee; - debit card deposit: 2.5%; - EUR bank withdrawal: EUR 1; - Lightning withdrawal: free within stated limits.
Funding methods include bank transfer, SEPA and debit card. Identity verification is required, and proof of address may be requested in some cases.
Bitcoin only Focusing on one asset keeps accounting simple, but those who need stablecoins or altcoins will need another provider. Countries served and conversion of proceeds into fiat should be confirmed before onboarding.
