Overview

CellPay is a payment gateway and payment services provider from Nepal. Through one unified gateway, merchants accept all the main digital methods Nepali shoppers use.

Methods

  • e-wallets, a popular way to pay online and in shops in Nepal;
  • banking apps, paying directly from the customer's mobile bank;
  • QR, where the customer scans a code with their phone and confirms the payment;
  • bank cards.

Combining wallets, banks and QR in one gateway spares the merchant separate agreements with each wallet and bank.

Settlement

The unified gateway's standard is T+1: funds reach the merchant on the business day after the transaction.

Geography

The service operates in Nepal and suits businesses taking payments from a local audience: online shops, services, schools and retail outlets.

What to clarify

Pricing, document requirements and technical integration options are not listed. When you get in touch, say which methods matter most to you and where you take payments: on a website, in an app or at the till.
