In September 2026 the author opened recruitment of Canada Interac teams that can also process PayPal, with settlement in Canadian dollars (CAD). Each method has its own rates.
PayPal
- PayIn: 5%;
- PayOut: 1.5%.
Interac e-Transfer
Interac e-Transfer is the standard way to send instant transfers between Canadian bank accounts using the recipient's email or phone number. The author lists these banks:
- RBC;
- TD Bank;
- Scotiabank;
- BMO;
- CIBC.
Rates for this method: PayIn 4.5%, PayOut 2%.
The comparison is simple: PayPal pays more on pay-ins, Interac pays more on payouts.
Interac PayPal teams: two separate methods
This is not a service for moving an Interac e-Transfer into a PayPal wallet. The two methods run in parallel: a payer chooses either Interac or PayPal, and the team processes each through its own accounts at its own rate.

The insurance deposit is 500 USD.
What to clarify
Per-transaction limits, daily volume and traffic type are missing. Also ask whether a team can work with only one of the methods, and confirm the September rates still apply.
Who it suits
Teams with accounts at Canada's largest banks or with PayPal business accounts.
