Overview
BudPay is a payment service provider that gives businesses two ways to collect money: bank cards and QR payments.
Cards
Card acquiring is the basic method for online sales and physical stores. The customer enters card details on the payment page or taps the card on a terminal, and the merchant receives the funds after settlement.
QR payments
With a QR payment, the customer scans a code with their phone camera and confirms the payment in a bank or wallet app. For the seller it is a way to take payments without a terminal: the code can be printed at the till, shown on a screen or added to an invoice.
Who it suits
- small shops and services that want a simple start without expensive hardware;
- online projects that want to give buyers an alternative to typing in card details;
- businesses where fast on-site payment matters.
