Overview

BoazPay sets up merchant accounts for higher-risk online stores. A merchant account is what you need to accept card payments when a standard acquirer will not take your business because of its niche or sales model.

Who it suits

The company lists several segments:

  • e-commerce;
  • dropshipping — selling goods that the supplier ships directly to the buyer;
  • digital goods;
  • direct response marketing — ad-driven sales with a quick buying decision, often with trial offers.

These models tend to see more disputes and refunds, which is why banks classify them as high risk. Whether a specific project can be onboarded is decided after review.

Terms

  • no application fee;
  • no setup fee;
  • no mandatory long-term contract.

Without a lengthy contract the merchant carries less risk: if the terms stop working for you, you can switch providers without early termination penalties.

What to clarify

Percentage rates, reserves and payout schedules are not published. Ask for them before submitting documents, and include your sales statistics and chargeback ratio.
