Overview
Billink is a payment service for online stores that adds pay-after-delivery. The shopper receives the order, checks it and only then pays.
How pay-after-delivery works
- the customer selects this option at checkout;
- the store ships the goods without waiting for payment;
- the buyer pays after receiving the order.
For the buyer this removes the main fear of online shopping: paying and never getting the item, or getting the wrong one. For the store it is a way to lift conversion, especially among new customers who do not yet trust the brand.
Why use a provider
If a store offers this option on its own, it carries the risk of non-payment and the work of chasing debts. Connecting through a specialist service means the store does not have to build this process itself and can offer deferred payment without its own infrastructure.
Who it suits
- online stores selling clothing, footwear and other goods where shoppers often want to try on or inspect a purchase first;
- stores that want to reduce cart abandonment.
Terms
Countries served, merchant pricing and payout timing are not listed on the card. Billink shares them during onboarding, based on product category and the store's turnover.
