Overview
Banxa is fiat-to-crypto on-ramp and off-ramp infrastructure for wallets, exchanges, fintechs and other platforms. It is a publicly listed company (TSXV: BNXA), founded in 2014 and headquartered in Melbourne with a presence in Europe. The legal entities include Banxa Holdings Inc. and EU Internet Ventures B.V. for EU services.
How it works
A partner can use:
- an embedded or hosted checkout, a ready-made buy and sell window inside its product;
- a native API and SDK for building its own interface.
The reverse route accepts crypto and pays fiat out to the user. The service lets apps and wallets offer a "buy crypto" feature without their own licences and bank agreements, because Banxa handles fiat acceptance, user verification and conversion. KYC and AML compliance is built in, and a white-label option is available.
Products and clients
The company lists global and local on/off-ramps, NFT checkout and white-label integration, and states a zero-chargeback guarantee for partners. Named clients include the exchanges OKX and KuCoin, as well as wallets and Web3 platforms.
Markets and pricing
Markets named are Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Brazil and Türkiye. Partner pricing is a transaction fee plus revenue share, customised to the integration and volume; retail quotes vary. Methods include bank transfers and cards.
