Overview
Asaas is a Brazilian payment platform. It offers several payment methods, automates collections, works as a gateway and can split a payment between recipients.
Methods
- Pix, the Central Bank of Brazil's instant payment rail;
- boleto, a payment slip paid at a bank, in an app or at a lottery outlet;
- payment cards;
- payment links;
- split payments.
Split payments help marketplaces and platforms: the customer's payment is distributed at once between the seller, the platform and other parties, with no manual transfers.
Settlement timing
- Pix: within seconds;
- boleto: the same or next day, depending on the cut-off time.
Automated collections let you bill on a schedule without chasing customers manually, which suits subscriptions and recurring services.
What to clarify
Per-method pricing, card settlement timing and the legal entity are not published. They are shared during onboarding, based on volume and business model. If you are building a marketplace, also ask about split terms.
