Overview
Amazon Pay is a payment method that lets shoppers pay on third-party websites with their marketplace account, without re-entering card and address details. The company runs a global partner program for businesses that help merchants add this payment option.
Who the program is for
Technology and commercial partners are invited. In practice that means payment providers, e-commerce platforms, plugin developers and agencies that implement payments for online stores. The program aims to expand merchants' payment options, so a partner brings new sellers to the service and in return gains one more feature for its own clients.
What the method gives a merchant
- a fast checkout for shoppers who already buy on the marketplace;
- a familiar brand on the payment page.
Terms
Partner rewards, seller pricing and the contracting legal entity are not published. Details depend on the partnership type and the country and are discussed when joining the program.
