Overview
allpay is a payment service provider and payment aggregator. Its job is to collect payments from payers on behalf of organisations and pass the collected money to the recipient.
How an aggregator works An aggregator connects many recipients to payment acceptance through its own infrastructure and bank agreements. The organisation does not need a separate acquiring contract or its own payment system: the payer pays through the service, which forwards the funds on an agreed schedule.
Who it is for The service targets organisations rather than individual sellers. This model is common for those who regularly collect payments from many people: property managers, schools, municipal and community bodies, and service companies with subscription fees.
Not yet disclosed The public description is limited to "payment collection and transfer for organisations". Unknown points include: - payment methods, such as cards, bank transfers or cash at counters; - countries of operation; - fees and transfer times; - integration options.
Recommendation Before connecting, ask the company for the full list of methods, pricing and a sample of its payment reports, since that determines how easily you can reconcile receipts with your accounting system.
