About the event
The Point 2026 is the annual payments conference of Payments NZ, the organisation behind New Zealand's core payment systems and the API Centre. Over two days at the NZICC in Auckland, the payments ecosystem works through the issues it cannot ignore under the theme Tātai — a te reo Māori word meaning connection and setting a direction. The programme is organised around three themes: aligning direction (payments infrastructure, systems evolution and what comes next), building trust (trust and safety, consumer confidence and system integrity) and creating wellbeing (operational resilience, interoperability and long-term sustainability). It includes a trust forum on the biggest risks and a session on infrastructure and innovation. FIS is the principal sponsor.

Registration starts at $900 excluding GST for startups, NGOs and social sector organisations; members, API Centre users and non-members have separate rates.
