About the event
Japan Fintech Week 2027 is scheduled by Japan's Financial Services Agency for 24 February – 5 March 2027, with events in Tokyo and regional cities. The week bundles the FSA–Nikkei FIN/SUM conference with dozens of partner events on AI, blockchain, payments and digital assets.
Who should attend: crypto exchanges and VASPs, stablecoin issuers, payment and wallet companies, foreign fintechs planning a Japanese licence, banks and investors.
Why it matters: Japan has one of the clearest frameworks for crypto assets and yen stablecoins, and the regulator itself curates this week. It is the most efficient trip for meeting the FSA, Japanese banks and local partners at once. The dates are published by the FSA as planned, so check the official page for the final programme.
