About the event

Finextra runs this webinar in association with Nium on Thursday, 12 November 2026, at 15:00 GMT (16:00 CET, 10:00 EST). A panel of industry experts examines how banks can align more closely with what corporates need from international payments.

The discussion draws on new Celent research commissioned by Nium: 65% of businesses want cross-border payments completed within minutes or instantly, but only 18% get that speed from their banks, and just 29% of banks think clients expect it. Ease of payment ranks first for 32% of businesses versus 19% for total cost, failed payments cost surveyed firms about $108,823 a year on average, and nearly two-thirds already use a non-bank method. Yet 58% say extra services from their bank would make them more loyal.

Who should attend Transaction banking, FX and cross-border product teams at banks, plus PSPs and payout providers competing for corporate flows. The cross-border payments webinar shows where banks are losing business and how to respond.

Tickets and access Registration is on the Finextra event page.
