About
The Payments Shed is a weekly interview podcast hosted by payments veterans Grant Evans and Justin Hanna, with guests from merchants, platforms, networks and fintechs. It runs to close to a hundred episodes, and the titles show how the conversation has moved.
Recent and notable episodes
Episode 36 hears from Nvidia's Georgios Kolovos on payments foundation models and connected intelligence. Episode 44 was recorded live at MPE Berlin and asks whether merchants are finally ready for pay by bank, with Token. Episode 50 talks to Oceanpayment about designing fintech for global markets, and episode 98 argues that the property management system is becoming the financial brain of hospitality.
How it is useful
The show is practitioner-led rather than a news digest: guests explain why they chose a provider, what A2A adoption looked like on the ground and where compliance bites. That makes it good listening for merchant payments managers choosing between PSPs, and for PSP and fintech teams working on go-to-market. Episodes are on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and the show's own site.
Payments angle
Interviews with merchants, platform operators and PSP leaders on pay by bank, provider choice, cross-border fintech and go-to-market.
