LNP2PCR is a Spanish-language Telegram group where Costa Rican bitcoiners trade Bitcoin person to person, paying over the Lightning Network in return for SINPE Móvil, the country's mobile bank-transfer system. At the time of checking it had 160 members, 8 of them online.
How it works
The group calls itself a community of Costa Rican bitcoiners and welcomes newcomers. Trades are meant to run through @lnp2pBot, a bot that holds the sats in escrow while the fiat payment is made, so neither side has to trust the other blindly.

Anyone in Costa Rica who wants to buy or sell small amounts of Bitcoin with colones, without an exchange account, can see how local P2P works. For payment companies the group is a window into SINPE Móvil as a P2P rail and into Lightning as a settlement layer for retail crypto.
