Check Bootcamp - Advanced

Check Bootcamp Advanced is a three-hour virtual session from PaymentsFirst, a US payments association, on 3 December 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Eastern time (1:00–4:00 pm Central). Checks remain a significant part of the US payments landscape, and the course goes beyond basics into the operational and compliance problems of processing them.

The programme covers the risks of mishandling check adjustments, steps to reduce financial losses, warranties and liabilities of the parties involved, and the key regulations governing check processing, with a focus on managing losses and mitigating risk.

Who should attend

Deposit and check operations staff, exceptions processing teams, compliance and risk managers, auditors and customer service staff at financial institutions, as well as AAP, APRP and NCP candidates who need continuing education credits.

Tickets and access

$199 for members, $398 for non-members. The session earns 3.6 AAP/APRP/NCP credits (CTP credits may apply) and is included in the PaymentsFirst Education Package Plan.
