Overview
Simmons Bank offers business checking in the United States through two published products, Business Core Checking and Business Plus Checking. They differ in balance requirements and in the banking relationship expected from the customer.
Fees Core is priced at $10 per cycle and Plus at $20 per cycle, and the fee can be waived under the conditions the bank publishes. The details of those waivers should be read in the bank's current schedule.
Opening No minimum amount is needed to open an account, but at least $0.01 must be deposited within 45 days. The opening deposit is therefore 0 USD at opening and 0.01 USD within the 45-day period.
Deposit insurance The bank page discloses FDIC membership. Coverage depends on the depositor, the ownership category and eligibility, and it is not the same as the safeguarding applied to electronic money institutions.
Who it suits US small and mid-sized businesses that want a traditional checking account with clear fee tiers, and that can meet the balance or relationship conditions for fee waivers. A business that needs treasury management, international payments or acquiring should ask which additional products Simmons Bank can provide, since the available facts list business checking only.
