Overview
Bank Mandiri is an Indonesian bank offering merchant acquiring and business current accounts. Its card-acceptance package covers EDC terminals, QRIS and Alipay acceptance.
Acceptance and published rate
According to the bank's official product document, the merchant discount rate (MDR) is 1.80% for credit cards on the Visa, Mastercard, JCB and UnionPay networks. This is a single published figure and other card types or channels may be priced differently, so the full tariff should be requested.
Onboarding
To connect, a business must be a bank customer and supply company documents. The business current account sits alongside the acquiring service, and the bank also lists Kopra by Mandiri, its corporate digital channel, among the services.
Who it suits
The combination of local QR, international card networks and Alipay suits Indonesian retailers and service companies that want to accept both domestic and tourist payments through one bank relationship. Clients are businesses; the offer is not aimed at individuals. Settlement timing and terms for specific legal entities should be confirmed with the bank during contracting.
