PCI SSC Europe Community Meeting 2026

The PCI SSC Europe Community Meeting 2026 was held by the PCI Security Standards Council in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 20 to 22 October at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). Community Meetings are the Council's main in-person forums, where participating organisations, assessors and the wider payments community hear updates on the Council's standards and programmes and discuss how they are applied.

The Council maintains standards including PCI DSS, PIN Security, Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), 3DS, Secure Software, Mobile Payments on COTS (MPoC) and Token Service Provider requirements, together with assessor qualification programmes. For many attendees this is simply "the PCI community meeting" where PCI DSS changes are explained first-hand.

Who should attend

Compliance and security teams at acquirers, PSPs, processors and merchants that store or transmit card data; Qualified Security Assessors and other qualified professionals; and vendors of payment terminals, encryption, tokenisation or payment software that must be validated against Council programmes. The meeting is also a place to raise questions with Council staff directly.

Next editions

The 2026 Europe meeting has taken place. In 2027 the Council plans a North America Community Meeting in Las Vegas (14–16 September) and the Europe Community Meeting in Amsterdam (5–7 October); both have their own listings in our events calendar.
