EBA Winter School 2026 "The Fast and the Fungible: Cross-border payments in the age of tokenisation"

EBA Winter School 2026, titled "The Fast and the Fungible: Cross-border payments in the age of tokenisation", is a three-day residential course from the Euro Banking Association's EBA Academy, hosted by Swift in La Hulpe, Belgium. One full day takes place at Swift's premises. The curriculum looks at where tokenised deposits, stablecoins and deposit tokens are already deployed, how their designs differ, what they mean for cross-border payments, and the latest developments around the digital euro. Teaching is in English, and participants earn 20 credits toward the EBA's Payments Expert training path.

Who should attend

Payments practitioners with several years of experience who contribute to their organisation's strategic positioning in European payments — for example strategy, correspondent banking, cross-border and digital asset teams at banks, PSPs and EMIs.

Tickets and access

The fee is €2,750 for EBA members and €3,150 for non-members. It covers all sessions, materials, meals and two nights of accommodation. Registration is via Eventbrite.
