StraitsX is Singapore payment infrastructure that connects fiat, its own stablecoins and external blockchains. It was formerly known as Xfers and serves businesses only, with English-language service and documentation.
Tokens - XSGD, pegged to the Singapore dollar. - XUSD, pegged to the US dollar. - XIDR, pegged to the Indonesian rupiah.
Fiat currencies are SGD, USD and IDR. Tokens tied to local currencies allow on-chain settlement without the price swings typical of ordinary cryptocurrencies, and they move across borders faster than classic bank wires.
Services - Receiving and sending funds, and on and off-ramp. - OTC conversion for larger deals. - QR payments. - Card programmes with settlement in stablecoins. - Stablecoin settlement for payment companies, fintech platforms and businesses settling with partners in Southeast Asia.
Regulation The company lists a Monetary Authority of Singapore major payment institution licence, number PS20200475, with Singapore as the declared jurisdiction.
Worth knowing A token's currency does not mean the service is open to every resident of that country: client eligibility is assessed separately. Fees, limits and onboarding steps are discussed on request.
