개요
Nepal Clearing House is a payment gateway and payment services provider in Nepal. It runs several national payment products that carry payments between banks, businesses and individuals.
Products and methods
- NEPALPAY QR: pay by scanning a QR code in a mobile banking app or wallet. A merchant just displays the code at the till or on a website, no terminal needed;
- connectIPS: online transfers and payments straight from a bank account;
- bank transfers between accounts at domestic banks.
Why it matters
When QR payments follow a shared standard, a buyer can pay from almost any bank or wallet app that supports it. The seller does not have to connect each app separately: one code covers most customers.
