Montonio is an Estonian payment company founded in 2018 in Tallinn. It offers an all-in-one checkout for e-commerce that combines bank links, cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, BLIK and buy-now-pay-later.

Why bank payments The customer picks a bank, logs into familiar online banking and confirms the transfer, so no card details are entered. For merchants, fees are usually lower than card acquiring, there are no chargebacks in the card sense, and fewer customers drop off at checkout.
Markets and pricing Stated markets are Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. Bank payments start from EUR 0.05 per payment, with separate card rates. The company says more than 6,000 European online stores use it.
Who it suits Online stores, sellers on social media and messengers, and service companies that invoice after a consultation. Ask which banks are connected in each country and whether modules exist for your CMS.
