JuniPay is a payment provider from Ghana for accepting payments, processing international transfers and sending mass payouts to bank accounts and mobile wallets. The company publishes its pricing openly, which is uncommon in the African market.
Methods and currencies
- Visa and Mastercard cards, mobile money, bank transfers.
- Processing currencies: GHS, USD and GBP.
Pricing
- Visa/Mastercard cards: 1.99% per transaction in GHS, USD or GBP.
- Mobile money: 1.0%.
- Transfers: 1.0%.
- No upfront fee. Final commercial terms are confirmed in the agreement.
Payouts
The service states that funds arrive within 20 minutes, while payouts for money transfer operators (MTOs) are processed in real time.
Payout coverage
21 countries across West, Central and East Africa: Ghana, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and others.
Integration and legal entity
Integration is via an API with published documentation. The operator, Juni Ghana LTD, holds PSP Enhanced status in the Bank of Ghana register.
