Fasspay is a merchant acquiring company and PSP in Malaysia. It connects merchants to customer payments and operates through the Malaysian legal entity Fass Payment Solutions Sdn Bhd.
What merchant acquiring is
Acquiring is the service that lets a shop accept cashless payments. The provider takes the customer's payment, runs it through the payment networks and pays the money into the merchant's account minus a fee. Merchant acquiring covers both physical points of sale and online channels.
The Malaysian market
Malaysian shoppers use cashless payments widely, and businesses operating in the country benefit from a partner with a local registration: contracts, settlement in ringgit and regulatory requirements are all simpler.
