Currencies Direct is an international money transfer and FX provider running an open partner program. The operating company is Currencies Direct Ltd, an electronic money institution authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 900669), based at One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London.
Services - international payments and physical delivery of currency (spot); - forward contracts and currency hedging; - multi-currency accounts; - mass payouts, online or through a personal specialist.
The company serves businesses and private clients. According to the program description, it offers more than 40 currencies and reaches over 120 countries, which matters to clients buying property abroad, paying tuition overseas or moving savings when relocating.
Legal roles European services run through Currencies Direct Spain EDE SL (Bank of Spain 6716), while cards are issued by Transact Payments Malta or Transact Payments Gibraltar in the relevant jurisdiction. These roles should not be attributed to the UK entity automatically.
Partners and pricing The program invites estate agents, consultants, law firms and other client-facing businesses; partners earn extra income or cut their own costs. The UK page advertises no transfer fees, so the FX rate and markup are what to compare in a quote. A developer portal and white-label API integration are published.
