CMI Morocco is Morocco's interbank processing centre. The company processes merchant payments and provides payment gateway services for accepting online payments.
Interbank processing
The interbank model means that transactions from customers of different banks in the country pass through the centre. For a merchant this is a single connection point instead of separate contracts with each bank, and for a buyer it is the familiar card payment with any local issuer.

The gateway service allows card payments to be accepted on a website. This is the route for online shops, booking services and other online projects that work with Moroccan buyers and want to collect payments through local infrastructure.
