개요
Armenian Card (ArCa) is an Armenian company that processes card transactions and maintains the infrastructure of the national payment network. Its clients are banks and merchants in Armenia.
What it does

- infrastructure of the national payment system through which the country's banks exchange transactions.
A national payment network lets cards from different Armenian banks work at each other's ATMs and terminals, while domestic transactions settle inside the country. For banks it is ready-made infrastructure instead of in-house processing; for merchants it means acceptance of cards from local issuers.
Who it suits
- banks that need card processing and access to the national network;
- merchants in Armenia that accept cards.
For foreign businesses the company matters mainly as part of the local infrastructure: when entering the Armenian market it helps to know which network local customers' payments run through.
What to clarify
Pricing, onboarding steps, settlement timing and the legal entity are not published. Merchants usually connect through an acquiring bank that already works in the network.
