개요
AmBank is a Malaysian bank that provides merchant acquiring. Through AmBank, businesses operating in Malaysia accept payments via DuitNow QR, the national QR standard. Acquiring is provided by AmBank (M) Berhad, and Visa Malaysia confirms the bank as a card acquirer and publishes a dedicated merchant helpdesk.
DuitNow QR
DuitNow QR is a single QR code that Malaysian banking and e-wallet apps can scan. The customer scans the code at the counter, on a website or on an invoice and confirms the payment in their app, and the money moves account to account without a card. For the seller it is a way to take cashless payments without a POS terminal, through an interface local shoppers already know.
Cards
The Visa confirmation shows the bank also works with card payments. Card POS terms are separate from QR terms and should not be assumed to match them.

Terms
Pricing, settlement timing and merchant requirements are not published and depend on the agreement with the bank. Besides DuitNow QR and Visa cards, no other methods are listed.
