A developer building software for Chinese and overseas users is working out how to accept payments directly on the product website. The goal is a lawful setup: which company to register and which payment gateway to connect in order to serve both Chinese and international customers.
What is needed - payment acceptance directly on the product website; - a Stripe-like gateway: API, online checkout, subscriptions and one-off payments; - a clear legal structure for the company and settlement.
Project stage This is early planning: no overseas entity has been formed and there is no live volume. The author treats company setup and payment choice as one task, so a provider can offer a package of onboarding plus guidance on structure.
