Adaptiv Payments serves high-risk merchants: it opens high-risk merchant accounts and provides a payment gateway where risk settings are tuned to each business.
What a high-risk merchant account is
A merchant account lets a business take card payments. Banks treat industries with many refunds and disputes, or with complex regulation, as high risk; such merchants are often declined by standard acquirers or lose their accounts when chargebacks rise.
Configurable risk settings
Flexible gateway settings let the merchant define transaction rules: which payments pass, which go to extra review and which are declined. This helps balance conversion against fraud levels.
Who it suits
- businesses turned down by other acquirers;
- projects with an elevated share of disputes;
- companies that want control over their fraud rules.
Terms
Pricing, methods and coverage are not published. Whether a specific business can be onboarded is decided after reviewing its model and processing history.
