Smartro is a payment gateway and payment service provider in South Korea. The company connects businesses to cashless payments from local customers.
Why a local gateway matters
The Korean payments market differs noticeably from Europe: shoppers are used to domestic cards, mobile payment options and local authentication rules. A foreign shop without a Korean gateway will struggle to accept these payments directly.
