परिचय
InstaDebit is a payment system operating since 2003 and aimed at users in Canada. Customers use it to fund an account and pay for purchases, while merchants receive payments from customers already familiar with the method.
Methods and currencies
- Visa and Mastercard cards.
- Currencies: Canadian dollar (CAD) and US dollar (USD).
Support for both dollars is handy for a Canadian audience that often buys from foreign sellers and services priced in USD.
Fees
Published user fees are flat:
- deposit — CAD 1.95;
- withdrawal — CAD 2.
A flat amount instead of a percentage pays off on larger transactions: the bigger the payment, the smaller the fee's share. Merchant terms are discussed separately during onboarding.
Coverage
The main market is Canada. For a business, it is a way to offer Canadian customers a familiar payment option at checkout alongside cards.

The operator is Instadebit International Solutions Ltd, a company registered in Malta.
