GoPay is a payment gateway from the Czech Republic, operating since 2007 and based in Ceske Budejovice as part of the Worldline group. It is a PSP for online stores in Czechia and Slovakia, with Hungary, Poland and Germany also named among its markets.
Methods The main method is bank cards, the baseline payment option that most stores in the region connect first. The product is an inline overlay checkout, GoPay Inline, with more than 50 methods listed: - cards, including Apple Pay and Google Pay; - bank buttons; - Bitcoin; - multi-currency payments.
The company is described as a pioneer of inline checkout in Central Europe. Target verticals are e-commerce, digital services, ticketing and gaming.
Pricing The company advertises a promotion: the gateway is free for 3 or 12 months, then 0.95% + CZK 0 per transaction. The promotion has its own eligibility conditions, which are worth reading before signing, including what determines the 3- or 12-month period.
