Vendorcom

Vendorcom is a UK-based independent forum and hub where the whole merchant payments acceptance chain, from retailers to acquirers, processors and ISOs, meets to tackle common problems. Merchants attend its events free of charge, which keeps the rooms balanced between buyers and sellers.

Formats

The programme combines Future of Merchant Payments conferences held twice a year, merchant payments briefings and forums, merchant summits, influencer briefings and regional or international networking meet-ups. Members also get VSpace, an online interactive zone. A concrete example is the merchant-only PCI and Payment Security User Group online meeting scheduled for 13 May 2026, a closed session where retailers compare notes without vendors in the room.

Who it suits

Payments and finance managers at merchants who want an unbiased view of acceptance, security and orchestration options; acquirers and PSPs who need to hear merchant objections first-hand; and technology providers looking for introductions. Topics on past agendas include payment security, open banking, identity and authentication and public-sector payments, so the forum is closer to a working peer group than a trade fair.
