2027 AFPP Exam Prep Course

PaymentsFirst runs an instructor-led online prep series for the Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP) exam from 10 November 2026 to 3 February 2027. Ten sessions cover Fundamentals of Faster Payments (two parts), Faster Payments Risk Management, Operations and Process Flows (two parts), an Open Forum Q&A on 15 December, Governance Framework (two parts), Technology Considerations for Enabling Faster Payments, and a final review on 3 February. Sessions run 2:00–4:00 pm Eastern; the final review runs 10:00 am–3:00 pm Eastern. All sessions are recorded.

Who should attend Payments, operations, risk and product staff at banks, credit unions and fintechs preparing for the AFPP credential, or anyone wanting a structured grounding in RTP, FedNow and other faster payment systems before the 2027 testing window in February–March.

Tickets and access The AFPP Exam Prep Course costs $1,095 for PaymentsFirst members and $2,190 for non-members. Exam registration is not included and is paid separately; dates may change.
