Taurus

Taurus is a Swiss technology company building bank-grade digital asset infrastructure, founded in 2018 and based in Geneva. Its platform covers custody, tokenization and operations with crypto assets for financial institutions.

Products The line includes Taurus-PROTECT (HSM and MPC custody), Taurus-CAPITAL (tokenization of real-world assets), Taurus-EXPLORER (blockchain nodes) and the TDX marketplace. Collateral management for institutional use is also part of the offering.

Regulation and backing The company states that it is regulated by FINMA and supported by Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse/UBS. Clients named include Deutsche Bank, Santander, State Street, CACEIS and UBS, as well as token issuers.

Markets and delivery Stated markets are Switzerland, the EU, the United Kingdom and the UAE, on a global basis. Taurus is licensed as enterprise software and can be deployed on-premise, as a hybrid or as SaaS, with integration through APIs.

It is not a retail wallet or exchanger but a set of components that a bank builds into its own processes.
