xpate is a payments group that combines business payment accounts with payment acceptance, including for regulated industries. It offers business accounts, acquiring and international settlements to companies with cross-border sales.
Services and methods - bank cards; - local payment methods popular in specific countries; - payment links that can be sent to a customer without a website; - invoices; - payouts.
When selling abroad, cards alone are often not enough: customers in many countries prefer bank transfers, wallets or national systems. Combining cards and local methods in one connection helps conversion in new markets without separate contracts in each country.
Licensing and entities The group runs separate licensed entities, so product availability depends on the contracting jurisdiction: - xpate Ltd in the United Kingdom, an FCA-authorised EMI (901021); - xpate SIA in Latvia, an EMI licensed by Latvijas Banka (27-55/2023/7); - NOVUM Financial Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, a MAS Major Payment Institution.
Funds are not bank deposits and are not covered by deposit guarantee schemes. Developer documentation is available.
