개요
WCT Pay is a cryptocurrency payment gateway for merchants and PSPs. The customer pays in crypto while the business receives settlement in fiat, so the seller does not need to hold digital assets or track their price.
How it works
The gateway accepts a crypto payment, converts it and credits the merchant in one of the settlement currencies: USD, EUR, AUD or GBP. Besides payment acceptance, the company runs an OTC desk — over-the-counter exchange for large amounts, when a conversion has to be done without moving the exchange order book.
Who it is for
The service targets merchants who want to add cryptocurrency as a payment option and PSPs that need a partner for crypto settlement inside their own product. Coverage is stated as international. Settlement currencies are not a list of countries: whether onboarding is possible in a specific jurisdiction is checked separately.
Integration and payouts
Integration is via API; the exact product and documentation are chosen for the merchant's use case. The company states fast settlement, but the exact timing is not published and is worth fixing in the contract.
