Trustly is a bank-based PSP that has been taking online payments straight from the shopper's bank account since 2008. Besides one-off checkouts it handles recurring collections, so it suits both online stores and subscription products.
How pay-by-bank works
The customer never enters card details: they approve the transfer in their own online banking, and the merchant receives the funds from the bank. For a business this is a way to serve customers who avoid cards and to rely less on card schemes.

The company works with betting and gambling, e-commerce, financial services and travel. Video games are also named among its client verticals.
Coverage and integration
The core market is Europe. An API and ready-made plugins are available, so a store on a popular platform does not have to build the integration from scratch.
