PPRO is a PSP and payment aggregator that specialises in local payment methods. The company helps connect these methods, accept payments through them and manage them in one place.
Why local methods matter
In many countries shoppers do not pay by card but in ways familiar to them: bank transfers through online banking, local wallets, QR payments, voucher payments. If the checkout page lacks such an option, some customers simply leave. Connecting each method separately takes time: every one has its own contract, API and settlement procedure.
