NMI is a white-label payment gateway platform and infrastructure for ISOs, PayFacs, ISVs and acquiring banks. It was founded in 2001, with offices in Roselle, Illinois and Bristol in the United Kingdom.
Products - White-label gateway. - Automated merchant onboarding. - Omnichannel acceptance: EMV terminals, mobile and online. - Customer Vault for stored payment data. - Kount fraud tools.
Payment methods include cards, bank payments and real-time payments, which let funds reach the account almost immediately after a purchase.
Who it is for - SaaS platforms embed payment acceptance in their service and can earn from customer payments. - ISOs and PayFacs use the gateway as the technology base for onboarding merchants. - Banks and high-risk merchants are also listed as target verticals.
A regular store can use such a gateway, but the main value lies in the model for platforms and resellers.
Scale and pricing NMI says it serves more than 3,500 ISO and ISV partners and hundreds of thousands of merchants, across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the EU. The commercial model is a SaaS partner programme plus a per-transaction fee, and details depend on merchant count and volume.
