Merrco is a merchant services provider and payment gateway. It connects businesses to cashless payment acceptance and handles the technical side of processing those payments.
What these services include
Merchant services cover everything a seller needs to get paid: an account for accepting payments, a connection to an acquiring bank, ongoing support and reporting. A payment gateway handles the technical part: it passes payment data from a website or terminal for authorisation and returns the response. When one provider plays both roles, the seller does not need to find an acquirer and a technical partner separately.
