ECS Payments is a US payments company that grows its processing business through partners. It invites players from software, sales and referrals to help expand its merchant base.
Who is invited
- Referral partners who recommend payment services to their clients and peers.
- ISOs (independent sales organisations), companies that sell acquiring and processing to merchants on behalf of a processor.
- Software developers who embed payment acceptance into their products.
How the program works
The partner brings merchants, and ECS Payments handles the processing. For ISOs and resellers it is a way to sell payment services under their own brand or inside their offering; for developers it is a way to add payments to software and earn on client volume.

- the size and format of the commission;
- who handles merchant support;
- how chargeback risk is shared.
