개요
Clarity Merchant is a merchant services provider and payment gateway that processes payments for both ordinary and high-risk businesses. The company names high-risk merchants as a core audience.
What high-risk processing means
Banks treat as high risk the sectors with many refunds and chargebacks, regulatory limits or unusual sales models: subscriptions, nutraceuticals, travel, online gaming, long-term prepaid sales. Such companies often fail underwriting at a regular bank. A specialised provider finds an acquirer willing to take that profile and sets up risk monitoring.
Standard risk
For businesses without special risks the service offers the same processing on regular terms. This helps companies that started as low risk but are expanding their range and do not want to switch providers.
Onboarding
Approval of any specific business is not guaranteed: the decision follows a review of documents and processing history. Methods, pricing and onboarding countries are not published; for high-risk merchants they are almost always set individually, often with a reserve.
